Thanks to everyone who contacted their State Senator and Senate Rules, the grace periods for stream buffer violation fines were stripped out of HB 137 today on the Senate floor. Sen. Steve Gooch, R-Dahlonega, amended the bill to remove the controversial provisions before its passage today.
