A sad new reminder about PFDs on the Hooch

sorry if a re-post - I'm a kayak fisherman, and too often forget the 'Hooch is still a real river, get careless about my PFD, etc. So a sad wake-up call - we're perhaps a little younger than the 60-something man who lost his life, but can't take the placid 'Hooch for granted.

saw the search helicopter from my house and was wondering what it was for really sad to hear what had happened. gotta be safe on this river.
