Probably going against the grain here, but I can understand needing flies and not always being able to shell out $2 for every nymph midge and dry your box.

That said, I try to buy local flies as much as I can, but for most of my staple flies I buy them online. is my go-to: low prices ($.50 each), decent quality flies and free shipping.

Also, you can occasionally go on Orvis' website and look for their 20 flies for $10 (free shipping) deal, which is more of a sampler than anything but still a good deal.

Regarding fishing at Callaway's....lots of options including trout during the cooler months. The big lake next to the fly shop has jonboat rentals. Last time I was there it was $25 for boat rental and it comes with a trolling motor.
