Default After the rains.

I have noticed quite a few posts on here that are asking what the water level is like on a particular stream at a given moment and i thought i would share a great resource with those of you who might not know about it.

this is a great site to get a read on the level of most of your local rivers or even streams. just remember that this is meant to be a guide for boating not fishing. particularly accurate for the Toccoa, Hooch, Chatooga watersheds here in Ga but encompasses the entire states for you weary travelers.

Thanks for the link. In one of the blogs attached to your link, the following website was mentioned:http://www.butera.org/toccoa/gauge.txt

It records the hourly flow rates for the Toccoa near Dial. It is interesting, at least to me, to see the rapid increase and decrease in water flow.

Now, if we could figure out a water clarity scale, we would be set.

Some of them do. The Chattooga at Burrells Ford does and a few others. You just have to check and see.
