When I was around 6 or 7, my dad and I were walking along the bank of a farm pond in S. Ga. when we came upon a huge fire ant mound. "Jimmy", he said, "Pick up a stick and poke it in that ant bed". "Yes sir"! I responded. Ants poured out like golfers leaving church.
