Dahlonega Trout fishing

Could I please get any info on where a beginner fly fisherman can go in Dahlonega to trout fish. I'm from Alabama and will be there on vacation in the summer and staying in Dahlonega and was wanting any info on public creeks or steams close to town that I could just wade around in and fish a while. Appreciate any info I can get.
