Nice one. Too bad about the snakes (not seeing any) but still a very dangerous day, to be sure.

I'm going with Hornet's nest also. I used to throw rocks at them as a kid

Nice report. Makes me dread my new job and lost time on the stream. I'll have to get out in the next week or two.

If they were hornets they were VERY small ones. With lots of black and yellow stripes.

Default Definitely jackets

Nope. Definitely yellow jackets. We got to see plenty of them flying in and out.

We thought the same thing, but we got a good enough look at both to see that there weren't hornets. Definitely yellow jackets...

Glad to see your fishing PLT..... Hope to get back to the mtns in the next few weeks for a long awaited fishing trip.... Been way to long for me to be away from the mtns... I think this is the longest i've been without fishing . Hoping to hook up with Danny in a few weeks if he can get away from his guide trips....

Call or text me sometime.....

If you want to catch fish don't mess with Dink just call me. Seriously, Dink and I will probably hit a small stream or two this weekend so give us a call, I have no trips this weekend and I think Dink is also free. Great to see that you are still around.
