Gnomie took some damage over the weekend. His hand was broken, but we recovered the amputated body parts and kept them on ice. He's going in for reconstructive surgery tonight. Hopefully hell be back to his old self in just a few days.
Jamie: Just got back from Publix with all the fixin's for the Dutch Oven Kielbasa. Mmmmmm Good! The Chicken and Rice was awesome too.

One time up the road and one time down and I missed all that? Prob. a good thing as that big hairy thing would be a good target.

Had a lot of fun and caught some awesome fish. Didn't go after a slam like I had planned, but I caught some great browns and bows. I caught one rainbow that had the brightest pink stripe I'd ever seen on any rainbow. It was so bright and bold it was almost red. It was fun to get back to the toot. In my younger years the only other place that I slung flies was Fightingtown. Haven't fished it in the past 2 years and boy I've missed it. It's crazy to see how busy it's gotten though. Every camp site was full and car/trucks were constantly on the road. When I first started fishing there, I'd be lucky to run into someone else, and if I did it would usually be a hiker around the three forks/AT area. I absolutely couldn't believe that I saw a group of people tubing in a small section of the creek!! Really??? Powerbait and corn was abound as well. Sad, but true... this place is no longer what it used to be, but I was glad to see that it still holds some great fishing. It was good to get out of the house with the fellas from the team and NGTO.

I know this is a no-no but I am sorta new to fishing the North Georgia streams. I hail from WV and grew-up fishing those great wild streams. I would like to take the family out camping and fishing well atleast me fishing. And yes it will be a Flyrod for me and a ultra lite for my 11 year old daughter. Can someone PM me the general area of this stream and camp ground. Many thanks and tight lines to ya.

I'm glad you guys had a good time. Its fun to do stuff like this but is there really a need to post everything as in this thread.
NGTO seems to be going in a direction that some of its members highly disapprove of yet this stuff continues. And this is regardless if true or not, mockery, or respect.
